Alongside

Standing in the shade under the persimmon tree, I looked for a long time at the unripe roundness. Before I knew it, a magpie landed, shaking a branch.

Breeze

The persimmon branches stretch out as if to cut the sky. I too saw a late pear hanging outside my window this morning. It seems it has no intention of falling yet.
