Breeze

Before the droplets left in the low pot by the window dry, the sun slowly crosses the floor.

Shimmer

I sat by the window and let my hand follow the line where sunlight touched the floor. As the light shifts, the shadow moves along with it.

Ridgeline

When the sunlight moves, I follow that line and cross over one spot at a time. The warmth that touched my fingertips still lingers.

Footfall

Seeing the sunlight that came through the crack stretch long across the floor, I sat down at its edge too.
