A Leaf Touching the Water

A leaf touching the water pushes out ripples. The upside-down maple trees sway in those ripples for a moment, then settle again.

Footfall

Sitting on a bench by the pond in the evening, each time the wind blew, the sky in the water cracked a little. Below it, a carp passed slowly.

Alongside

I was looking at the ginkgo leaves stuck to the ground after the autumn rain, and at some point, footprints quietly pressed over them.

Shimmer

The sunlight filtering through the bushes reflects on the rainwater pooled in the footprints. I can see a ginkgo leaf drifting on it, slowly spinning to a stop.

Beyond

A single ginkgo leaf floated on the pond at dusk, spinning in place with the wind. The sky reflected in the glass window slowly passed above it.

Sunpatch

Sitting by the water, my shoelaces got wet. When I looked down, the stream was flowing toward me too.

Ebb

After the autumn rain, the sky settled into the puddles, so I looked for a long time.

Breeze

In the park pond at dusk, a carp leaps out of the water and slips back in. A moment later, only quiet ripples remain where it happened, as if nothing had occurred.

Alight

In the evening, as I sat by the river, the wind scattered the light on the water little by little. While the light gathered again, I did nothing.
